Nonprofits & Advocacy: Mission Advancement & Civic Engagement

High impact nonprofits support their missions, their constituents, and their communities through advocacy. To be effective in accomplishing their missions and strengthening their communities, it is essential for nonprofits to understand their rights and responsibilities for advocacy and public policy. Equally, philanthropic funders can advance nonprofit missions and build strong communities by supporting nonprofit advocacy activities. Together, nonprofits and philanthropy can create strong communities through understanding and engaging in advocacy.

Please join GRANTMAKERS of Oregon and Southwest Washington, the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, Alliance for Justice, and the Oregon Department of Justice for a day of “Nonprofits and Advocacy: Mission Advancement and Civic Engagement.”
