The High Desert Nonprofit Conference will bring together 80 to 150 nonprofit leaders for a full-day event to learn from expert speakers, network across organizations and sectors, and connect with peers. This year the conference will kick off with NAO's Annual Meeting, where we will celebrate our accomplishments from the past year, discuss our vision for the future, and engage in thought provoking discussions with leaders in the sector.

Nonprofits are relied upon to be our social responders to crises as they arise in Oregon. From emergency housing and food, to helping families navigate challenges around mental health issues, nonprofits are adept at responding to the very real needs of others. But what is the role of a nonprofit in helping make a community great? What are the key indicators to watch as you carry out your mission? Who can you partner with to make an even greater impact as a nonprofit? What social problem are you trying to solve and who else is working on that issue too? This conference will bring together leaders from the nonprofit community to discuss ways in which our sector can build strategic partnerships among ourselves to develop a larger impact and to help make Oregonians everywhere thrive.

Also, join us for a lunch plenary featuring the leadership of Oregon's leading foundations, including:

  • Anne C. Kubisch, President, The Ford Family Foundation
  • Doug Stamm, CEO, Meyer Memorial Trust
  • Max Williams, President & CEO, The Oregon Community Foundation
