Event Description

Title
Growing Future Leaders: Creating a Path and Thinking Ahead - Nonprofit Learning Cohort for Small, Rural Nonprofits

Cohort Facilitator
Jess Hampton, Learning Programs Manager, NAO

This five-part series is geared for nonprofit staff and board members who are strategizing creative ways to strengthen succession and leadership planning among the changing landscape we find ourselves in. We know that our organizations are changing and adapting at a fast clip and these sessions will help to build understanding of ourselves, and how we work, and develop skills and tools that will respond to the need for more effective succession planning. We’ll learn together as we explore multi-generational team dynamics and communication, personal leadership styles and how to work more effectively within a diverse team while encouraging the next generation of leadership. This cohort will draw on evidence and case-based learning as well as from fellow participants and is intended for staff and board of all experience and skill levels.

Join this cohort of peers to learn about nonprofit best practices while gaining insight from each other’s challenges and solutions, and problem solving together. Each session will include a facilitated training component as well as discussion-based peer learning and networking opportunities. Space is limited to 15 participants so register today!
