Queer Youth Capacity Building Program
Funded by the Pride Foundation in 2009-2010, the Queer Youth Capacity Building program provided individual coaching and support to six organizations that work with LGBTQ youth. The program was designed to provide strategic support to queer youth organizations in order to strengthen these groups and the young people that turn to them for information and support. Participating LGBTQ youth centers received specialized training that improved their effectiveness in delivering their important missions, and also strengthened their infrastructure. This project was also partially supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
