Guadalupe Guajardo, PhD, Senior Consultant

Guadalupe has deep roots in the nonprofit community in Oregon, having worked as a senior consultant with the organization for over 25 years. She is known for her acute understanding of organizational development issues, as well as her capacity for building meaningful community and individual connections.

Guadalupe specializes in organizational development, board trainings, leadership development, and cultural competency. She is a co-founder of Tools for Diversity, a comprehensive curriculum led by a multi-cultural training team that presents solutions to problems caused by privilege, prejudice, discrimination, and oppression.

In addition to her work at the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, for the past 12 years she has worked with the Center for Third World Organizing based in Oakland, California, developing and supervising leadership programs for young people of various racial groups. Prior to her consulting work, she served as a community organizer and trainer. Guadalupe has held local and national leadership positions with many groups, including the US Catholic Conference of Bishops, Campaign for Human Development (Portland and Washington, DC), and the DC based Partnership for Democracy.

Guadalupe holds a doctorate in Transformative Learning and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, an MA/ABS in Organization Development from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, and an MA in Theology from Mt. Angel Seminary. Guadalupe is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary of the U.S.A. Province, currently headquartered in Montreal.
