Abe Conway, Technology Consultant

Abe is a self proclaimed “geek” and a life-long computer enthusiast. In his 15 years of professional tech experience, he has held a number of positions ranging from Helpdesk (Tech Support) to Systems Engineer (network and server design); Abe has worked in the Nonprofit sector for the past eight years and prior to that, spent seven years in the commercial sector and corporate IT.

In addition to managing technology systems at the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, Abe provides technology consulting to nonprofits and coordinates a team of highly qualified and vetted NAO technology subcontractors who provide technology services to nonprofits; everything from tech support to database design.

Abe can consult and offer advice on a wide range of technology topics. He specializes in infrastructure, networking, and security, along with plenty of experience around technology project planning (databases, websites, budgets, maintenance, etc.). He also knows a lot about general technology such as trends, the Internet, and tech gadgets.
