In support of our campaign to establish a Latino Family Empowerment Center, our very first Gala de Oro (Golden Gala) will focus on our region's hidden treasure - our families! The event will feature unique Latin American-inspired small plates, a taste of the diversity and elegance of the region’s cuisine, a signature margarita created exclusively for the event, exceptional wines from south of the border, and local craft beers. As a special draw, guests may partake in a tequila tasting presentation, where an expert in the spirit will teach tasters the art of imbibe and identify the complexity, finesse, and diversity of tequila. A wonderfully unique silent auction featuring local and exotic treasures will keep guests busy and inspired, and when ready, you can hit the dance floor to the spicy-hot Latino tunes of (band to be announced) accompanied by dance instructors who will show you the basics of salsa, merengue, cumbia and bachata. Semi-formal attire in an elegant and exotic setting.
