Lisa Goren, Senior Organizational Development Consultant
Legacy Health

Presentation & Continental Breakfast at 8:00
Networking at 9:30

One of the greatest leadership challenges is ensuring staff and volunteers understand the vision, goals, and strategies of an organization. It is less often the goals themselves and more often the way that information is conveyed that can lack clarity or resonance with those who must actually execute the task at hand. One of the keys to creating a mutual level of understanding is by leveraging a variety of learning styles by which to convey key pieces of information. Individuals take in and digest information differently, yet through understanding these differences, leaders can effectively build rapport, trust, and ultimately, organizational effectiveness.

Participants will leave this session with the ability to:

  • Understand the importance of learning style differences to an organization’s effectiveness
  • Recognize various learning styles
  • Apply tools and strategies that address learning style differences
